I live on an enchanted tropical island, full of wonders and warmth and sunshine and adventure. One of my favorite things about this island life that I love is watching the pelicans dive for fish and watching them waddle their way along the beach, making friends with the locals, knowing that the people here will protect them. Pelicans are a symbol of triumph and tenacity, revitalization and learning. They are curious and courageous and they are daredevils. I named this guy after my grandson Jack, because he is all those things too.
